I thought they did a nice job with everything for their first year. The expo was great for a smaller race, and I thought everything with the expo and check-in went really smoothly. Aid stations were well prepared and staffed. The hill(s) at miles 3-5 were a little tough, especially in the heat, but the rest of the course felt pretty easy to traverse. I felt like certain areas of the course didn’t allow for many spectators, but my only other long-distance race experience was the Chicago Marathon in 2018. Overall, I enjoyed the race! I just wish it were a little less humid!
