Race has beautiful scenery and the vibes are high. Course is mostly flat except miles 9-10 run through a neighborhood and is basically one gradual uphill. This caused elevation gain to register at 171ft and not the 60ft advertised on the race site. The medals and swag are really nice! Lots of water stations along the course. Bib pickup went smoothly. Race started on time. Overall would recommend this race for a first time half marathoner or for someone trying to PR. 🙂
