This race will always be one of my favorites!I’ve ran the half 6 times and absolutely love it. It’s a tough course but completely worth it! This year I decided to run the full marathon. It wasn’t my first marathon ever but it was one my most memorable running through my hometown is always special! Make sure you do lots of hill work for the huge hill at mile 9 and all the TCU hills if you are doing the full. It’s completely flat once you get on the trinity trail which makes for a great finish! The best race shirts and finisher medals and shirts for the Sunday distances! <3

The most beautiful course! Loved my medal and shirt! I stayed in Issaquah… I loved it there! My favorite marathon! Very gradual downhill. I never felt like I was going downhill except for one little part. I ran this race in July it did get kind of hot at the end but I’m from Texas so I’m used to it but for anyone who is not just know it may warm up especially at the end. Also the tunnel wasn’t my favorite thing but it was neat and different. I lost the 3:10 pacer but I still ran a PR and had a fabulous time! Lots of great people at this race! Everyone I talked to after the race ran a PR or a BQ!
