The flat part was nice at the beginning, pathways were all paved, and the run up the bridge was gradual and doable. Running down the bridge felt amazing, and then the flat lands made my legs feel heavy.
Wasn’t quite a half marathon, only 13.02 miles

It had the Serious runners at the start, everyone else behind. Lots of kids, families, strollers, walkers joggers, and kids running in spurts, it ended at the track with booths geared towards kids camps. Great school district fundraiser, especially after the board gave themselves a massive raise.
