The Rocky Mountain National Park Half Marathon was my first half marathon, and I was lucky enough to do it with my dad! We took a 2 week vacation from Michigan and traveled out to Colorado for this race. We did the Elk Double (the 5k and half marathon). It was a beautiful course, and a well put together race weekend. Although the course was challenging, I was determined to tough it out. When I finished, I had never felt more accomplished in my life! And being able to do it all with my dad made it even better. We supported each other the entire way! Overall, the Rocky Mountain National Park Half Marathon was awesome, and I’d love to do it again!!!
