This race was tough! Loved the rolling starts, the course views and the swag. I can see how it would be easy to get lost on the course miles 6-9 during the truly dark hours (I ran at 6 am).

Great course. Only complaint is the cost of lodging and rental car which required a small loan lol. Even camping was filled up and on the high end for tent only sites compared to other places we’ve been. Still worth it!

This race gave a Florida girl the chance to explore beautiful Yosemite. The campground at Bass lake was nice with flush toilets (no showers) and great company.
The course was beautiful, the downhill made me feel like a Kenyan and the medals are a work of art.
The only cons of the weekend were lack of parking at expo and the shuttle service was delayed (apparently due to no fault from the organizers, contracted units didn’t arrive). I would definitely recommend this race and hope to run it again!
