I had a very disappointing experience with Sara Klemme, the director of the Madison Marathon. Even when I asked a simple question about the race, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. Her tone made me feel genuinely uncomfortable and even ashamed for simply trying to get information. It’s really unfortunate that someone who shows such little regard for runners is in charge of an event like this. It felt like her priorities were more about profit than creating a positive experience for participants.
