This was a great pick for a first-time half marathon race. The course was relatively easy with some minor elevation changes. The course went through a couple of parks and around a small lake and pond. Scenery was mostly nature. Course support was fantastic with lots of people cheering the runners on. It was well organized with starting and the award ceremony. Aid stations were well placed throughout. No one runs a race for the t-shirt, but it wasn’t soft or something I would wear compared to other race shirts. I would recommend this as a great race for first time half marathoners.
