French Creek Half Marathon & 5K

The French Creek Half Marathon and 5K, presented by the Meadville Family YMCA, offers a flat, fast and scenic run on Ernst Trail alongside French Creek and on country roads.

Half Marathon participants will start in the plaza and proceed West on Rt 322, which will be closed, to Ernst trail. The course is an out and back on the trail with approximately 4.5 miles on a back country road during the return portion of the race. Ernst trail is a paved, flat course. The portion on the road has some minor rolling hills. The race finishes in front of the bowling alley at the beginning of Ernst Trail.

5K participants will complete an out and back and start approximately 10 minutes after the 1/2 marathon. The half marathon will be sent off in waves according to number of participants and estimated finish time to relieve congestion on the trail.
