This is a good-sized race with many vendors, volunteers and runners. The race feels “industrial” to me because there are large office buildings, large parking lots and small trees that are few and far between.

Great race, I did the half marathon in 2013, and the 10K (new distance added) in 2015. The gender-specific tech shirts are awesome, packet pickup at Running Zone easy. Medals too. The race course changed (used to start near Cosumnes Oaks HS/EG Auto Mall) to start near Longleaf Drive. Photobooths at the finish free.

This was a new location this year. The course was very fast with two hairpin turns. We ran in the street and on a bike/walking path. The weather was warm by the end of the event. There was quite a few vendors and the awards were okay. Many more half marathoners than 5/10 K’ers. I would do this one again.
