The new and improved “Paso Half” is a combination of the original Harvest Half Marathon and family-friendly Heritage Oaks Fun Run. The new Paso Half will begin and end at the Downtown City Park and will feature activities for all ages including a 5K race, family mile, kids’ dash, diaper dash, and weekend festival with live music and famous Paso wine and beer! One hundred percent of race proceeds go to the 4A Foundation for Paso Robles Schools supporting academics, arts, athletics, and agriculture.
The Paso Robles Half Marathon has quickly become one of the best wine country destination races in California. Paso Robles is California’s newest and undiscovered wine and outdoor recreation region. Sunset Magazine named Paso Robles the Best Wine Country Town in its 2016 Travel Awards for “offering the perfect wine getaway — four-star lodging, terrific food and world-class wine.” Most recently, Paso Robles was ranked #7 in Expedia’s “Top-rated Vacation Destinations in North America” saying that “Paso Robles is the place to relax and breathe – body, mind, and soul.” Those attributes combined with an active outdoor-loving community pair to create an event that is unforgettable. Our new race courses will take walkers and runners of all levels through the best roadways of what the region has to offer.
Our new and improved half marathon course will start and finish in the historic Downtown City Park on Spring Street. With generous cut-offs, runners and walkers of all levels will enjoy a tour of the city center then head out towards the rolling hills of Paso Robles wine country. The loop course is paved and will feature a variety of classic homes and iconic businesses then head out and back through our beautiful agricultural open space. Race start is 7 AM and the course limit is 4 hours. In addition, we will provide a short-sleeve tech unisex shirt, bib timing, awards, aid stations, port-a-johns, and a well-marked course.
Our 5K is two paved loops through downtown Paso Robles. We encourage runners, walkers, strollers, and families of all levels to enjoy this spectator-friendly, high-energy event. In addition, we will provide a short-sleeve tech unisex shirt, bib timing, awards, aid stations, port-a-johns, and a well-marked course.

Small race through beautiful wine country. Some hills to contend with. About 2 miles of broken up road made it painful for feet. Was to be replaced the following week. Promotors promised free bottle of wine for all first place age finishers yet I wasn’t given mine.
