It’s nice to have a Saturday option for a turkey trot, so kudos for that. This is a small, no frills race with less than 100 participants in the 5k this year. The cold, drizzly weather could have kept some away. Ocean State Multisport advertises this race but it’s my understanding they just help out and are not the true organizers. It’s an inexpensive race and you do get a tee shirt. The course was on mostly on a bike path and finished in Pierce Field. There was basic finish line snacks and water and a medal to commemorate the run.
