The Great Southern Endurance Run promises to be an unforgettable running experience. It is a point-to-point running tour of Atlanta, covering all of the parts of the city that you didn’t even know existed. Some of the highlights include two mountain summits, MLK’s birthplace, Braves Stadium, single track trail along the ‘hooch, Turner Field, and the Governor’s Mansion.

The official race starts at the top of Kennesaw Mountain to take you on this iconic journey through Atlanta and finishing in Stone Mountain just after you summit the mountain itself. It’s intended to be an incredible adventure run through the city of Atlanta where you stop at stores, gas stations, coffee shops etc., along with approximately 5 aid stations and check points along the course. Runners will follow old school turn sheets and have access to GPX tracks as well. It’s a great event for first timers but one that many come back to year after year.
