This was by far the worst produced running event i participated in. It was dumping rain and the staff there had no clue what they were doing. Race started 30 mins after it was supposed to. Seemed like only half the staff actually showed up. They advertised it at Drake’s brewery as if they’d be giving out their product at the end of the race but instead had a little truck out back giving one sippy cup of some generic stuff. The course was changed last minute and had to run through a homeless camp full of wet garbage. Just a terrible experience overall and I’ll never participate in I’ve of their events again

The course started at Drakes Brewery. Did an out & back along the river then went across the Tower Bridge along the river and into Discovery Park so the scenery was nice and diverse. It was a bit unorganized, but I am sure this was due to the rain and everyone scurrying around. The course was not marked with flags or arrows that I saw, but they did have volunteers at most points that were questionable. The t-shirts were a soft cotton and the metals were little keys to “Beer City”. After the race they had beer tastings, I think if the weather was nice, this would have been a bit more organized and enjoyable. I would recommend it though and will run it again.
