West Texas Ultra

The West Texas Ultra is a 10K, 25K, 50K, and 50 Mile trail run held at the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area in the rugged landscape of West Texas. Featuring a remote yet scenic dirt single-track course. The race follows 30 miles of unique trails beginning and ending in Fritch TX at the South Turkey Creek Trailhead.

Course Overview
– Surface: Single Track Dirt Trail.
– Course: Turkey, Harbor Bay, and Fritch Fortress Trail
– Elevation: Rugged hills and climbs with approx. gains and loss of 4500ft for the 50M.
– Location: South Turkey Creek Trailhead, Fritch TX
– Weather: Historic Average shows 44-72 degrees.
– No Cup Race: We don’t serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!

Texas Ultra Series This series spans all across Texas. All the finisher medals from each race combine to make the State of Texas. Anyone who finishes all the races will receive a special wooden case for all the finisher medals.
