Funest 50K @ Carter Rd Lakeland, FL   Apr 19, 2025

This is a challenging course with rolling hills that twist and turn through an old abandon phosphate mine area. You will run down sand & dirt trails that have been crafted over the years to become the awesome Carter Rd mountain bike trails! We love to run this wild and fun and like to bring a race to you folks to enjoy! This is a fun run to challenge yourself. You can TRY to race it hard but…good luck! 👍

Even the best of the best would still see pacing in the 10 minute range in some areas. It’s a very fun course while also being very tough in the same breath. This is not easy!!!!!

I must stress…this is about as hard as it gets in Florida! This will be the Funest 50k you will run, walk or crawl in Florida!
