Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own back yard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!!
Both races feature beautiful, Central Montana scenery! The 5K run/walk is a gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains; whereas, the half marathon course will traverse the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte as you make your way across the hills descending into town. The race is on a gravel, country road and so strollers are not recommended. Keep your eyes out – as you travel across the country look for wildlife including deer, antelope, elk, coyotes, cows and maybe snakes!
We will have post-race local craft beer by Golden Triangle Brewing, ice cream & specialty coffee by Milk & Honey, and venders for lunch following the race. Enjoy the day with all of those attending Geraldine Fun Day!
