With plenty of race options for everybody centered around the beautiful Rampart Reservoir in Woodland Park, Colorado, you’re sure to have a good time while you take in the epic views of Pikes Peak and the front range at Aravaipa’s Ram Party Trail Runs!
The 54 mile & 50K will be held on Saturday, starting and finishing at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs. Runners will head through the beautiful rock formations of Garden of the Gods before heading up, up, up Rampart Range Road. 50K runners turnaround and bomb back downhill, whereas the 50 Mile runners circle Rampart Reservoir before heading back down.
The 5K, 9 Mile, Heavy Half & Heavy Marathon runners will toe the line on Sunday at Rainbow Gulch Trailhead. Half Marathon runners circle the reservoir once, while marathon runners enjoy the loop TWICE.
The gorgeous singletrack and expansive views can’t be beat. Pikes Peak will be smiling down on you the entire run as you weave through the multiple inlets and outlets of the scenic reservoir. Pines, aspens and smooth trail conditions make for a fun experience regardless of what distance you choose.
