Garmin Gravel Worlds Land Ho Run Series

Gravel Worlds® has been hosting gravel events for over a decade! For years we’ve been asked by our Gravel Family to add a running component to our Gravel Worlds® weekend. Well, we’ve listened and in typical Gravel Worlds fashion, Go Big or Go Home! Garmin Gravel Worlds Land Ho 50k Ultra Marathon, 25k Half Marathon, & 10k Fun Run have been added for our many pirate friends that prefer to explore the Gravel Seas by foot instead of by bike.

Nebraska is not flat!! (At least not around Lincoln, NE where the race is). There will be about 2,000 ft of elevation in the 31 miles. For most of the race you will be going either up or down the entire time. There is no single killer climb that will wreck you, but there is hill after hill after hill that will be along the entire course. Averaging 4-5% grade either up or down the entire course.

Part of the challenge of the Land Ho 50K is the event is self-supported. Runners are required to finish the event without any form of outside support that isn’t provided by the race. Once a runner leaves the start line, they can not take any outside support. No team vehicles or families out on the course. Water and basic nutrition will be provided at aid stations and checkpoints, but any specific nutrition needs will need to be carried by the runner.

Courses ARE NOT MARKED!! Runners are responsible for navigation. GPS files and cue cars will be provided through RideWithGPS. If you have specific nutritional needs you will be required to carry that yourself.
