One of those races that gives you a small town feel from start of finish. They take great pride in this event, and put on a nice “warm up” (expo) and “cool down” event for participants. One of the best features is that it starts and end at NYSEG stadium, meaning there are plenty of restrooms within the stadium for runners to access pre-race. Binghamton doesn’t have the greatest scenery when it comes to their downtown strip; however, you are able to cross 4 bridges throughout the course, which lives up to its namesake. They didn’t cut corners with their medal or their race shirts. Last year they gave runners a bright green and blue quarter-zips pullover, which is still one of my favorite pieces of racing attire I’ve collected thus far!
