I don’t like bashing a race. However, there were some critical points: it is called Phoenix but held in Chandler/ quite a drive away. They ran out of their swag when I got there, no substitutes. The start is far out/ shuttle bus is offered. A bit of dessert scenery but lots of boring parts. Water stations were sufficient. Finish area was nice with Halloween themed photo areas. Award show started wayyyy later since the award medals were not there. Medals and awards were very flashy. I finished first in my age group and all in all I d run it again…
