The views are unmatched and the course really offers a challenge. Two great things! The aid stations offer a lot of variety and support. I did run out of water on the backside of Smith Mesa and suggested to the organizer an extra water station out there as lots of us were in the same position. This is my second time running the course as I did not finish the first time. Now that I’ve finished it, I want to come back and see if I can get a better time. I just keep coming back! It’s addictive.
