This is a fun family run. There is is a kids run, 5k, 8k, and 12k. The t-shirts are always soft and there is trunk or treating afterwards. Once upon a time adults got a free beer or cider, now you have to pay. It is also fun to dress up like a pirate or another costume. Everyone looks like they are having a good time.

Easy course, fun participants. Usually nice weather but can be cold. The kids run before is cute. There is a 5k, 8k, and 12k…originally there was only a 5k and 8k. Trunk or treat after was fun. Miss the days of a free beer after and the mystery booty prize. This is a yearly tradition for me.

Great course where you can get a personal best because there are no big hills and the course is mostly flat. I helped a lady that I met running get a PR. The other runners were friendly. The course was well marked and there were aid and water stations along the course. The t-shirt and medal were fun, along with the wine tasting at the end. I will definitely do this one again!

Great flat and downhill course along a river. Not much wine country to see on the run but there are a lot of wineries near by to visit. Could potentially be a PR course as I ran faster than I set out with a head cold.

My sister and I met to do a race together. This one sounded fun, and it was. The race is actually in Solvang, if you are from out of town. Santa Barbara is a great place to visit, but a little ways away from the actual race. The weather was great and the scenery was beautiful. There is one big hill about mile 7. The reward is the gorgeous view. This would be a definite must run! I had such a great time…not to mention, wine at the end!
