This is the third time running this race. Back years ago it was a good race and was organized. Last few years has been interesting. 2022, a lot of runners were directed the wrong way (they had the 5K, 10K, half and full start at the same time all with the same bib colors). 2023 was less confusing but the aid on course was not good, lack of water and ice. The bling used to be awesome but not so much anymore. The race needs to be put on better.

Get there a little early to make sure you get the bus ride to the start. Well organized and decent on course aid. Flat as a pancake except for that bridge lol. Will be running this one again. The finisher’s medal was awesome and the shirt was nice.

This race is a must to run! The communication and organization is on point. Pretty good on course aid. The roads are NOT closed, but the police do a pretty good job making sure everyone is safe. Running back through down town on your way out for the second loop is a nice mood booster as everyone is cheering you on.

This marathon is amazing! The course support is the greatest I’ve ever seen. Just when your starting to fade there are people cheering and plenty of snacks drinks along the way. It’s a tad hilly and the weather is always interesting. This is my second time running this marathon and I’ll be back again!!!!

Well put together race with decent scenery. Not technical at all, just a lot of roots to trip you up. Lots of pine trees and some sand. I ran it back with the old race director when it was more like a big butts run, no swag back then!
