Seattle has great running roads, this race uses none of them. This course feels like it was designed to minimize inconvenience to the city and not to benefit the runners. The old course was great, hilly, yes, but that’s Seattle. If you love running in concrete tunnels, simultaneously below and next to a freeway, and on narrow paths strewn with Seattleites out for their morning dog walk then this race is for you!
