Logistics were lacking

This race was entirely dependent upon a shuttle to the start. Less than 12 hours before the race start, a vendor backed out. While this wasn’t the fault of Vacation Races, it didn’t seem like there was any backup or contingency plan. This became a logistical nightmare and significantly negatively impacted our race experience.
That aside, the race was a beautiful course. The people were very friendly and helpful, even though circumstances were outside of their control. I would like to do this run again when things are going smoothly to truly be able to experience this run as it was meant to be, instead of being highly anxious about the logistical nightmare it became on race day.
