It was a good race overall. It was pretty cold in the beginning, so make sure you plan accordingly. The restrooms were an issue and hopefully it improves next year. I had a really good time in Wyoming and Idaho all together. Make sure to make it a true vacation. Also, be prepared for the prices for stay, etc.

It was a decent race. Some cheering here and there. From what I experienced I would not consider doing the full marathon. It may have been the weather but there’s was hardly any people supporting the runners. I think it may make it just a place to train. Free beer and brats. The lines were super long, so can’t tell you if they were good or not. My daughter enjoyed the brat while I was still running.

I enjoyed the race, views and serenity of the race and the location. This was my first vacation race and did wished they would have had a couple of more vendors available during the expo. Also, I wished I would have stayed a little longer to enjoy the Smoky Mountains a little more.
