This race was well put together! There were volunteers everywhere, water stations every 1.5 miles, and live music at many locations along the course!
There is one “major” hill. Nothing to be too afraid of, but you can definitely notice it. Other than that, the course is pretty flat and rather scenic! You get to view pretty much every aspect of Ft. Worth, from running along the Trinity River to making a dash through the Stockyards. (only briefly will you catch a whif of cow). This race will definitely become a regular event for me!

This was my first road marathon. The course was pretty flat and scenic. Starting off at Lambeau was pretty awesome. Finishing at Lambeau…I felt like it was a cluster. The finish was probably what formed most of my opinions on this race. Obviously the finish is one of the last things I remember. Too many people trying to file through the tunnel, out on to the field, and back out the tunnel. Walkers from the half didn’t move over for the runner of the full. I will do this again in hopes of changing my view, and also for the 2nd of a series of 3 medals. Being in Lambeau was definitely a rush though! Race shirts were mediocre. They offer a nice fit but gold print on a maroon shirt doesn’t work well. You can’t read anything on it.
