This race was probably the most fun of all the races I have done. Parking was a slight issue. There was a great empowering speech before the race began. Empowering quotes were posted along the whole course route which was beautiful mostly along the ocean coast. The shirts given as swag were beautiful! A race medal would have made this race perfect.

The race boasts the best views, best swag. They allow for race day packet pick up which helps out people traveling to the race big time. This course is the perfect course for a fast Boston qualifying time. The aid stations were perfect with cheers from everyone helping out. Great post race expo with many vendors, free race beer, and great post race food!

Great views along Ventura beach front. The windy weather made the race difficult that day, some of the course had to be changed last minute due to flooding. Some small … MORE
Great views along Ventura beach front. The windy weather made the race difficult that day, some of the course had to be changed last minute due to flooding. Some small hiccups include a delay in race start due to a permit issue and an active train route in the middle of race course. Improvements could be made to overall race quality. Medals were cute though.

Small race through beautiful wine country. Some hills to contend with. About 2 miles of broken up road made it painful for feet. Was to be replaced the following week. Promotors promised free bottle of wine for all first place age finishers yet I wasn’t given mine.
