As someone who did not trail especially well for this race – this was amazing! I am an active person, I workout daily and run an occasional 10k but I have never ran more than 6 miles. The downhill nature of this course was perfect for first time half marathon runner or for hitting a PR. Running in this environment was also unforgettable! The vibes were immaculate – the community, scenery, and course workers made the race. I am also very fortunate for the aid stations that provided water, gels, and a variety of snacks.
