This is honestly my favorite race. I get so excited every year to do it. I’ve done many Spartan and Tough Mudders, but nothing compares to The Grit. They put so much hard work and effort into making this race such a great experience. The obstacles courses are so much fun and they have plenty of stations where you can grab snacks & water. Looking forward to year 5 next year 🙂

Such a great race! I would definitely train for this race. It’s a lot up uphills and just be prepared to drink a ton of water the day before. So much detail goes into this race and it’s absolutely amazing. They also take amazing photos of you at every course.

I love races with obstacle courses. The Grits course is truly my favorite out of all the races I have ever done. My best friend and I actually look forward to this race every year. I give them a 5/5. The course is very well put together. If you can’t do a certain course, that’s ok you can skip it and do the penalty run. I love how everyone pushes each other and talk to each other on the course, you will never feel alone and at the end you get this awesome metal. Their are a lot of hills so I do recommend hiking shoes, this will help you a lot. I love the Grit and can’t wait to do it again next year.
