I have ran this race 4 times already and I must say, this is the best one I done. It seems and felt as if the race was more well organized. The medals totally changed the design, it would just be great if you guys made them big like OC and Surf City. Anyways, the volunteers were phenomenal, please get the same ones again. I lost my ID and I came back and someone turned it in and they called me to contact me. I felt very special. The most important thing is that the weather which is not control by the director, was perfect! Even though it says it’s a flat course, there are some few minor rolling hills around CSULB for anyone doing it first time. But I totally recommend it, it looks like they’re moving the right different! I almost forgot, I loved how they had my name of the banner Run Long Beach, this is a thing LA Marathon and I was so thrilled to see this happen this year. Thank you Long Beach Marathon for a great race! I’ll be back for my 5th year as a Beach Bum!

WOW! This race was amazing! I’m sad they’re not doing it again this year, but it left me wanting more. It’s sooooo special. I can’t even describe it. Best race in all of California I tell you and so far I have done 17 marathons all in California.

I truly loved the scenery of the marathon, it was so beautiful. What I loved the most was how I was able to captured the sun rising up. You saw all people taking photos. The most amazing this is when we run through the beach 🙂 it’s awesome, it felt almost like practice even though I don’t live in Long Beach. It’s a pretty easy course, I would recommend it!
