This trail was certainly challenging but was advertised as such! First time 50 miler, i will likely be back next year. Muddy with some decent size hills but manageable and fun. Trekking poles were helpful. The loop aspect was nice to see family, clean up etc. Very aid back with awesome volunteers and race directors! Stayed at Rough River State Park with clean cabins and dog friendly.
