I’ve done several Rock N Roll Marathons and this was one of my favorites. Music was the best on the course of any RNRs of done. course was nice and flat and ran through some great parts of the city.

Honestly, I was less than impressed when I ran this. I have run two other RNRs, both with much better music and atmosphere. This seemed to have fewer bands and a lot of the bands they had weren’t even playing at the times I ran by (which may have just been luck of the draw). In my opinion, for all the races there are in Chicago, you can get more bang for your buck in terms of scenery and atmosphere with other ones.
