It’s a race I think every runner should run as an experience. Definitely eye popping scenery from the beautiful San Francisco scenery, to the exotic costumes or nudity. But once it’s done you don’t have to do it again.
It’s a logistics nightmare trying to get into or out of the city due to road closures.
The creative design of the medal seems to get worse each year.
Even splitting the race into several starting corals it is almost impossible to get a good running pace for serious runners.
Again an experience you should run once. But just once.

Awesome course. Big ups to trigger Valley runners for the pacing help. I kept chasing that 2:10 guy but lost him on the last 2 miles. Beautiful scenery but you couldn’t see it till the last 10 mins of the race due the mist. Although the mist did make it easier to run. Totally loved this race!!!

Loop course. Beautiful views. Couple of spots with bad smells by the still water. Weather couldn’t decide if it wanted to rain or not. Really came down as I crossed finish. My fastest half pace yet. Loved the course. Keep it up brazen

Aids stations well stocked and evenly spaced. Like all brazen races a party at the finish. Beautiful scenery.the last couple of hills got me, but I still did better than I usually do for a course with hills. Had a lot of fun
