Lovely, difficult run

Early start, steady uphill, one tough (corkscrew) hill to get through. The first two water stations were ridiculously crowded & had to stop & wait for a water. Beautiful scenery. … MORE
Early start, steady uphill, one tough (corkscrew) hill to get through. The first two water stations were ridiculously crowded & had to stop & wait for a water. Beautiful scenery. Second half of run is mostly downhill, road is rough in spots, tried to run in the dirt to avoid the uneven pavement. One last tough hill at the end of the run. The finish was nice & is in in lovely downtown Solvang. Paid extra for a wine glass & tastings, which I feel should be included in the entry fee. Overall good run, fun atmosphere & good time.
