Flat, beautiful course

- Water every 2 miles but no gatorade (They had Nuun which tasted like 1 part gatorade 10 parts water) - bathrooms every 2 miles and they were ALL out … MORE
– Water every 2 miles but no gatorade (They had Nuun which tasted like 1 part gatorade 10 parts water)
– bathrooms every 2 miles and they were ALL out of toilet paper, no one ever restocked so that was gross. They were even out before the race started
– Swag: A hat and a blanket which is nice, but we didn’t get medals!!! So lame.
– Food: We got one bottle of water and one banana at the end. Have definitely seen better at other races
– Course was beautiful and very flat, especially for Virginia (if you think this was hilly never run Charlottesville)
– Good signs so you couldn’t get lost and mile-markers for each mile
– About 4,000 runners (pretty congested in the beginning – didn’t space out groups, everyone just filed through the start in a big mob)

– The course was pretty repetitive just winding around the golf course so it was very beautiful but I would’ve liked to switch it up
– Very hilly (about 600 ft elevation gain)
