From sign-ups to finish, this was a well-organized, well-communicated race that radiated friendliness and fun. Aid stations placed perfectly (grateful for this as didn't want to carry anything), fun costumes … MORE
From sign-ups to finish, this was a well-organized, well-communicated race that radiated friendliness and fun. Aid stations placed perfectly (grateful for this as didn’t want to carry anything), fun costumes to look at as I ran, lots of smiles from volunteers and participants, yet still… a challenge! 12K is an odd distance, and sure that there were lots of PR’s as lots of first times at that distance. Don’t want to go too slowly, as it’s less than 8 miles, but need to pace as it’s nearly 8 miles! Truth be told, I woke not feeling like getting out there in the 30-something degree chill to run, but was so HAPPY that I did!!
