This race prides itself on the amount of participants ( 41k this year), but doesn't account for safety or organization. The route was beautiful but the first water station didn't … MORE
This race prides itself on the amount of participants ( 41k this year), but doesn’t account for safety or organization. The route was beautiful but the first water station didn’t have enough water because volunteers were trying to pour water from portable coolers which don’t pour fast enough. No medals at the finish line, no water or food, instead you have to walk into the nearby stadium and stand in line for an additional 30 minutes to get a banana and another line to get a bagel. The route is beautiful but I will never run the race again.
