The course is pretty straightforward. I actually really liked being able to briefly run on the freeway. Everyone running was friendly and even the marathoners were cheering the half marathoners on as we all were finishing together. I only wish the half marathon started earlier but that’s a personal preference.

I was really appreciative of the shuttles to and from the race. This was such an asset as parking can be tight.
I was uneasy about the start time (feels too late in the morning for my own personal tastes) but the waves worked out really well and the weather was perfect.
Overall, this felt like a really relaxing race. The course is smooth, the scenery is lovely, and the people are great. Really well organized and they kept runners on top of everything with updates.
