The 10k and 5k NEEDs to be separated much better outside the 15 minute start time separation. The 10k essentially loops the 5k course twice so you encounter the 5k racers as well. A larger portion of the 5k has walkers and inexperienced runners compared to the 10k which creates a hazard for me and other runners with 5k walkers blocking the route in some spots.
