Downhill course. Luckily I was planning to run with my 62yo mother. Needed a running buddy this course because it snowed the day before and there was BLACK ICE on the trail. No one PR’d this year I’m guessing. The views were off the chart. Good swag but DIDN’T HAVE THE RIGHT SIZES / RAN OUT OF YOUR SIZE.

Little disappointed there were no medals but this is a SUPER small and intimate race. My first TRAIL half marathon & the weather / scenery could not have been better. I would have liked at least a whicking shirt or anything else besides a crappy cotton T.

Cold as F**K in the morning but great drop off section. bring something ugly to toss in the bin. you might find it later, you might not. Found my ugly pink jacket in no time!

Ran with Mom. Fun race in Sonoma County wine country. The beer mile was hilarious to watch if you stuck around! I really liked the race swag design and ended up purchasing a sweatshirt. I could be interested in this turning into a half instead of 10k!

2017 the cut the race short to 5.8 miles because of a MASSIVE rain storm. They will run rain or shine. Quite a larger race. If you don’t purchase a buss/shuttle pass it’s ok; no one checked for ours. Everyone likes this race because of the metal and sweatshirt or jacket you get. the chocolate at the end & cup is cool buuuuut after running I’m not one for dipping everything in chocolate.
