Angela Chang's Staging Area

I want to prove that you don’t have to be skinny to be fit. I am a curvy woman, with a ‘high’ BMI, and I absolutely love running. The feeling I get from finishing races, and knowing that my body did that, speaks not only volumes about me, but I hope it also inspires others to move their bodies. I run my race for myself. I don’t compare myself to others, but rather, only to my last run. I meet myself where I’m at that day, and I just show up. The feeling of accomplishment and strength I feel after I run is something that is almost indescribable. I run because I can, and because I want other people to know they can too.
