My first marathon, I didn’t know what to expect, But, racing with the pace setters was a huge help, the aid stations were spaced perfectly and the cheer stations – didn’t realize how much those really help. I planned no later than a 4:40 for my first race, 10 min mile, thats what i ran my half at but with the electrolytes and the other runners, ran a 3:30, and had to call my uncle and tell him I was already done. I, couldn’t, believe, it, either. An amazing experience!
