Mostly on trail, not road, this course takes you around Ashford and while there are not too many scenic views, it’s a very enjoyable run through the old forests, rivers and wildflowers. I especially enjoyed mile 6 which almost felt like a light version of obstacle course but more fun!

This was my fourth half-marathon with Vacation Races and this race was unique indeed. Very beautiful course and although uphill for the first five miles, at the end it rewards you with this stunning finish line at the lodge. I would highly recommend this race and would do it again!

This course is relatively easy and the best part is the finish line at Bass Lake so you can enjoy nice refreshing dip in the water after your half-marathon. Very well organized race and perfect vacation as always with Vacation Races.
