You can never predict weather but vacation races are one of the classiest race organizations around. Very organized, clear direction and emails. Great shirt and awesome medals. And beautiful courses that get you to explore our national parks. This is my 5tg race with them and they never disappoint.

I’ve run this race 3 times in a row, and they are super organized! Tons of volunteers, getting to and from start line with shuttles is super easy and of course the pullover/sweatshirt is awesome! And the medal for the 15K is a great bonus! Plus the hot cocoa mug at the end! They have yet to disappoint and I will continue to run this race.

Brazen always does an amazing job! We were lucky with no rain, just really cold temperatures. All aid stations are fully stocked and have great people helping out. Courses are visibly marked and the views are fabulous. Great double medal if you participate in both the almost new years and new years day runs, with lots of great food at the end!

Wow! What a beautiful place to run! Lots of beautiful redwoods and soft dirt…the first 3 miles kicked my butt! Typical of Brazen, the course was fantastic, aid stations had friendly people with lots of snacks and the glow in the dark medal at the end was a nice bonus! A butt kicker of a course, but I’ll be back to get my revenge.

This is my favorite run…even though it takes me so long to finish, it is a steep challenging course with fantastic views of mt. diablo and surrounding areas. I love the hiker start since I knew I would take longer, and it was great to see the elite runners pass me. This was such a fantastic run, and loved the ultra 1/2 series, that I’m going to do it next year! Loved the coaster at the end after completing 7/13 ultra half series runs with Brazen.

An amazing course starting from Stinson Beach all the way into Mill Valley, including 4,500 feet of elevation gain and over 800 stars…. through big trees with dirt trails and up technical small one lanes over hills, this course was a fabulous and amazing way to push your limits. It was lonely at mile 8-10, and you have to put your game face on to get back over the last big hill, but the view toward Stinson on your way back down all take your breath away. Will I go back again? You bet.
