This race suggests runners not wear headphones. I was initially worried about this, as previous races have lacked spectators/motivation. This race was incredibly motivating – people of all ages coming out to cheer, music groups, friendly aid stations. I wish there had been an energy shot station or Gu option (previous races have offered this at later aid stations). Overall, this is a great race. I’ll be participating again next time.
