This was my first time doing a vacation race. The course is beautiful set, I jog/walk without music listening to the birds what a great experience. My quads were on fire by the time I got to the bottom of the hill, making the last part around the lake, take longer than anticipated. I would love to be able to come back to this race. We totally loved being able to race and vacation at the same time. Looking at other locations now. My daughter was the one that found out about these races.
