Awesome race! - Painful but doable. Beautiful scenery. The heat towards the end felt like hell. Expect to slow down towards the end. Race could be done much earlier though … MORE
Awesome race! – Painful but doable. Beautiful scenery. The heat towards the end felt like hell. Expect to slow down towards the end. Race could be done much earlier though in the year to avoid the heat (beginning of March?). After the turn out of the canyon, that’s when things can go south if not raced smart at the beginning. Couple minor hills, aka bumps, but nothing compared to other courses. The sharp turn at the finish line kills a lot of momentum. Overall, great race experience.
