Everything about this race is done superbly! The race started at the Bengals stadium, which allowed for bathroom usage. The entry points into the corrals was well managed, and easy to follow. The start of the race was very smooth, with a few minutes between each release.
The course was challenging, but fun. There are some pretty significant hills in the first half of the race, which helped me to focus on controlling pace. The back half was small rolling hills so nothing too crazy there. Overall the challenge of the course made the run interesting.
The support on the course was phenomenal! There were ample aid stations (I think every mile), volunteers passing out Swedish fish, cookies, bacon, and neighborhoods offering beer and mimosas. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and really wanted to support all the runners.
The swag was also a plus for this race as each runner received a poster, cooler, and shirt. All seem to be really high quality.
The medals for this race are fantastic! I have run over a dozen half marathons, and one other full marathon, and this was my favorite medal by far!
The fun factor of this race should make this a bucket list run for runners of any distance!

This was the most well organized, and well run race I’ve done. The staff set up an excellent expo that had great gear, the medals are awesome, and they had plenty of port-o-johns and parking.
